Gilching, September 2, 2019 – The pro-beam Group, one of the world's leading companies in the electron beam technology segment, will now be offering professional training at its company headquarters in Gilching for the first time this year, thus transforming all three German locations of the company group into professional training centers. A total of six trainees as well as one dual studies student will be starting their professional career in the business and technical area at the beginning of September.
pro-beam has already been offering training opportunities at its locations in Neukirchen, Saxony, as well as in Burg, Saxony-Anhalt, for several years. Now, the company headquarters in Gilching is being integrated as yet another training center. As a mid-size company in the area of electron beam technology, pro-beam is active in a very specialized environment and the company is dependent on technical experts, especially in the technical field. pro-beam has therefore decided to also conduct training at its location in Bavaria in order to secure today the young talent of tomorrow.
Training at pro-beam
The training opportunities at pro-beam include both business as well as technical areas: whether it's a technical product designer, materials tester or mechatronics engineer – the occupational fields are diverse. The trainees will begin their studies at pro-beam in September 2019, working as industrial business management assistants, industrial mechanics and system integration IT specialists. The dual studies program is being offered in the area of computer science.
"The training at pro-beam begins with an intensive introduction phase. Then both the trainees as well as the dual studies students are integrated into ongoing projects where they will very quickly take over responsibility. After successful completion and good performance, all trainees can expect excellent prospects for permanent positions throughout all locations," says Ines Wittlage, Head of HR at the pro-beam Group.
Over the three and a half years, there will also be numerous assignment possibilities within the company group. The trainees will have the opportunity to participate in high-quality training courses run by regionally-recognized training partners, as well as to take part in regular feedback discussions with their training manager. They will also be provided workplaces with modern equipment as well as free beverages and work clothing.
